Performance Features Corrosion Resistance:

Hastloy C4 is renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially in high-temperature, acidic, and chloride-rich environments. Its corrosion resistance is particularly suitable for protection strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and phosphoric acid) and chloride corrosion. In chloride environments, it shows strong resistance to corrosion cracking, effectively preventing chloride-induced corrosion damage. Additionally, it has excellent resistance to sulfuric and organic acids, hydrofluoric acid, and can maintain stability in high-concentration sulfuric acid media.

High-Temperature Stability:

Hastelloy C4 has good high-temperature resistance, capable of being used at temperatures (up to about 1040°C), while maintaining relatively high strength and oxidation resistance. Its oxidation resistance at high temperatures is another major advantage, it to maintain good corrosion resistance in oxygen-containing environments for long periods, preventing surface oxidation or corrosion damage.

Mechanical Properties:

Hastelloy C4 not only excellent corrosion resistance but also maintains good mechanical properties at high temperatures. It retains high strength, toughness, and tensile properties at high temperatures, making it suitable for requiring high mechanical strength. Additionally, this alloy has high fatigue resistance, making it suitable for engineering equipment that needs to withstand alternating loads or cyclic loads.
